This is the first months submission and the theme is change. Change is very open theme and we thought it could be interpretted in two main ways. The first being the changing seasons but also in a way of simply something changing, like our world evolving or someone growing up.

Just so you know, we have a rule that you are not allowed to edit your photographs and that you aren't allowed to use filters, though for this competition you are allowed. Just make sure that the filters and edits don't detract the attention away from taking a good photograph. As you see below in our example photograph 2, the edit is there for the purpose for showing change, the change in photography through time. Showing how it used to be.

The tip for this month is:

- This month's theme, so be creative! If you are photographing leaves, you need to be careful with the focus. You could set the camera so it automatically focuses, or if you are on a manual setting you will need to focus the it yourself. To do this, hold down the shutter button until the object you want to focus on is clear. Then release the button to take the photograph.

The example to help you are:

1. Changing Leaves, taken by Abeera Devasar

2. Through Time, taken by Romy Santer (using Sepia edit)

Good Luck Guys! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
