THEME OF THE MONTH:

Reflections

It’s really up to you how you want to interpret this theme and what you wish to do with it. We encourage you all to experiment and to step out of your comfort zone. Reflections can be of water, mirrors, light, windows, anything you want really. Check out our tips and examples below.

TIPS:

1. Experiment with lighting, try taking pictures in the dark at in the day time and see what effect that has on the reflections. Try capturing colour as well as texture in the reflection.

2. Framing is essential! Use the elements of the space you’re in to create an interesting composition and experiment to discover what creates the greatest effect.

3. Try finding an interesting angle or perspective that makes your picture different and unusual, for example by creating abstract reflections.
