Even though we have managed to find winners from the monthly submissions so far, we seem to be cutting it close at the end of every competition month, with little to look at and little to judge. 49 people signed up for this club and we email all of those people at the start and at the end of every month. Let us know if you are no longer interested in participating so that we can take you off of the email list and so that we can have a better idea of who and how many people we will be writing to in the future.
Before revealing the theme of the month (even though you can probably already see it below), you all should know that from now on, we will try to have a prize for the winner of the monthly competition. This prize will be revealed to the winner of the competition at the end of the month.
Finally, we would like to present to you the February’s theme:
THEME OF THE MONTH:
Home
...and this doesn’t mean your house or your interior decor. We are looking to see what home means to you as an individual. Below are some examples:
For Gessy, home means blanket forts and Spanish houses:

For Vero, home means candles:

For Chiara, home means houses and spending time with her family outdoors:

Useful Tips:
Make the most of the daylight. You will only have daylight for a short period of time if you. If not take advantage of the darkness.
Put your main subject in the center.
Plain background or busy to highlight the focus of the picture.
Reminder: please let us know whether you’re in or out!!!
Thank you,
Gessy, Chiara and Veronica
